Loan Program for Black Founders Still Open

Several components of the Black Entrepreneurship Program are now closed but the loan component, which provides loans of up to $250,000 to eligible businesses, remains open.

A partnership between the Government of Canada, Black-led business organizations and financial institutions, the program is investing up to $265 million over four years.

In a statement, the administering Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency said that ACOA has adapted its approach to the sectors it supports as a result of the pandemic with specific emphasis on digitization, the workforce of the future, the  green economy
